Golden Cages
As individuals and societies, we are defined by the limits we create, shaped by our fears, biases, cultures, and beliefs. These barriers form our sense of freedom and space. In the comfort of our "gilded cages," we observe the world from a distance, protecting ourselves from the unknown and cultivating our inner lives. Yet, this illusory freedom comes at a cost, as our dreams of a different life are kept out of reach by material constraints. The cage, beautiful yet isolating, keeps us confined, making its price steep and high.
